Agent K(ahunasan) Madison Klarer lays claim to crown of "Punk Rock Princess" with debut LP.
Strong vocal progression from 1st EP.
For BC fans that miss the pop-punk savvy of Chumped; Romp will definitely fill the gap. Favorite track: Last Year.

Austin Dahlke A fun pop-punk sounding album. Favorite track: Go Back to Bed.

Jamie Sadler ROMP's debut long player is a joy to behold and enjoyed on many levels. The effervescent facade could brighten the day of any casual listener. Below that is the cleverly phrased poignant lyrics and emotive melodies. Wrapped around everything is the incredibly TIGHT playing: every beat, pick and (endearingly lo-fi) key stroke is precise and never wasted. I really hope the world catches up soon, but I hope they don't ruin it! Departure from Venus? I'll take a season ticket! x Favorite track: Come Undone.

Art Fin This was one of my most anticipated albums of 2016 and it did not disappoint. I'm enjoying Madison Klarer's vocals and the catchy songs. This NJ band would probably appeal to fans of pop-punk bands like Chumped and indie-pop groups like Alvvays. The genre is a crowded field but this band is better than many of their peers. In addition to this 2016 LP on Bad Timing, also check out their excellent, homemade 2015 "Sorry, Not Sorry" CD EP. Sadly, the band broke up in late 2016. Favorite track: Last Year.
